First I read "I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!" to my 5th grade art club. I love this book for any age. Then we talked about creating a character for "their book". After using oil pastel to create the character, we watered down paint so that we could splatter it by blowing through a straw. This is our take on action painting!!!! 

The kids loved the project and I think that they turned out great!
